The Gran Plaza

The new Gran Plaza shopping centre is a ten minute drive or bus ride from the bar and has an array of shops and restaurants as well as a ten pin bowling alley and a cinema showing English speaking films(look for the v.o.s sign on the film).

The Mario Water Park

The water park is about 10 minute drive or bus ride . It is open from June through to approx 5th September. The Aqua Park in Roquetas de Mar is a great day out for all the family, with a huge 60,000 m2 of pure entertainment!
The Aqua Park offers you the following activities:

Mini Hollywood

Mini Hollywood is about a 40 minute drive away. It is near Tabernas in the desert just off the motorway and now renamed Oasis Hollywood. It is an old film set used for making many famous western movies (fistful of dollars, the good the bad & the ugly) and many more. They have now brought it up to date by having a cowboy shoot out show, film museum, animal park and many more interesting things to see. Family tickets available and ample food, water machines, cooling stations (you will need these in summer) and parking. It gets very hot so please take ample sun cream and hats with you.

THE THURSDAY STREET MARKET

The market is on every Thursday except the last Thursday of the month.
It has the usual array of goods ie handbags, shoes, clothing,
fruit & veg & household items.
It is situated opposite the Theatre across the road from
the Gran Plaza shopping Centre. The bus stops there.
